Free entry on Saturday 18 September see conservation of the Malmesbury Coin Hoard live by the Wiltshire Conservation services team at the Rausing Building (Old Moravian Church) in Malmesbury.
We’ll be in Malmesbury in the museum’s Julia and Hans Rausing building on the 17th in the afternoon. We hope you’ll stop by to see the inside of this wonderful building and you’ll have a chance to see coins from the hoard.
On Saturday, 14th of July we’ll be holding an open day at the Strawberry Fayre in Crudwell from 10am to 4pm. This is a wonderful chance to see some of the coins, including ones that have been conserved, and to learn more about the hoard.

This exhibit was curated by the Malmesbury Coin Hoard metal detectorist Tony Mimms and contains a fascinating selection of finds Tony has collected from the local area and during his many years of metal detecting.
